%0 Journal Article %T Waste and Waste Management Before Industrial Revolution %A G¨¹lbana £¿EKEN %J - %D 2018 %X Waste disposal is not a problem for only today's people, but it was also for our hunter-gatherers ancestors. This problem, which lasted so early, was of course smaller in size and easier to deal with. In this long period, which was before Industrial Revolution, because the wastes nature was organic, they were interfering with nature more quicly. Nonetheless, the mismanagement of these wastes could lead to diseases such as plague and colic, and inevitably cause massive deaths. Especially in large cities with a high population density in the Middle Ages, this problem could reach even more unattainable dimensions.
