%0 Journal Article %T INVESTIGATION OF THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS' OPINIONS ABOUT MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION TOOLS %J - %D 2018 %X This is a descriptive research aiming to get the opinions of the physical education teachers about the measurement and evaluation tools in the process of measuring and evaluating. The research have been made using randomly method on 230 physical education teachers who were working at the schools belonged to the Ministry of National Education in the cities; Antalya, Hatay, £¿stanbul, £¿zmir, Ordu, Samsun, Sivas and Trabzon. 72 (%31,3) physical education teachers were female and 158 (%68,7) physical education teachers were male. In this research, a questionnaire prepared by the An£¿l and Acar (2008) was used to determine the opinions of the physical education teachers about the measurement and evaluation tools in the process of the measuring and evaluating. Questionnaire is to determine physical education teachers opinions for the usage of the traditional and alternative measurement tools and divided into four sub-dimensions as; time dimension, economic size, class size and application size. In the questionnaire there are 37 items which are rated on five-point Likert-type as; ¡°Strongly Disagree¡±, ¡°Disagree¡±, ¡°No idea¡±, ¡°Agree¡±, ¡°Strongly Agree¡±. In the analyzing of the data, the frequency and percentage were calculated obtained from the questionnaire and were presented with the help of the tables. According to the findings, physical education teachers prefer using the easiest and least time consuming measuring and evaluation tools, they come under a financial burden for the preparation of the traditional and alternative measuring and evaluation tools, by the class population size, crowded classes effects negatively into the usage of the measurement and evaluation tools and it has determined that they have not enough information and equipment in terms of the implementation for both traditional and alternative measuring, evaluation tool %K Beden E£¿itimi %K £¿£¿retmenler %K £¿l£¿me ve De£¿erlendirme ara£¿lar£¿ %U http://dergipark.org.tr/spormetre/issue/41267/498510
