As a result, developments in a country or market are rapidly affecting other markets. International Financial Reporting Standards and preparing and presenting these standards in a proper and appropriate manner are known to be a very important factor in the integration and integration of countries. IFRS is prepared with a principle-based approach, therefore it contains fewer rules and the general principles they give are interpreted by professional accountants. This situation highlights the phenomenon of professional judgment. In this study, focus group work was applied to 7 accounting professionals working in Denizli. A number of questions were asked about the thoughts and preferences in accounting practices in the process of transition from rule based accounting to principle-based accounting.
