%X Wilson, as a scientist and statesman, has had a great impact on the development of public administration as an academic discipline and in evolution of the American administrative state. The two theses Wilson argued in his study have been largely populer in public administration practice and institutional discussions throughout the relatively short history of public administration. The first thesis is the separation of politics and administration, the second one is the development and creation of universal principles of scientific administration that will ensure efficiency and efficiency in public administration. Even though it is criticized from time to time, the public administration theory and practices, which was formed in line with Wilson¡¯s ideas and studies, continues to have a dominant impact on the American public administration. This study discusses Wilson¡¯s contribution to the evolution of theory and practice of public administration in the USA within a historical period
