In this way people living together have interacted to each other. As a result of this interaction, each society has its own social capital. Relations based on mutual trust among the people and institutions, from the economic and social point of view is called as social capital. Social capital comes about with social relations. The social relations that take place among people are generally based on rationality. This attitude based on benefit is called rational choice theory. The elements of trust, expectation and obligation of social capital; shows that social capital does not contrast with rational choice theory. £¿n this context, social capital and rational choice theory are two concepts that support each other. Many elements are influential in the creation of social capital. One of these elements is religion. Religion is the most important influence in the creation and accumulation of social capital. The book of Islam, contains many elements that constitute social capital. Social capital elements revealed by the Qur'an; participation, social relations, social networks, communication, reciprocity, obligations, solution of social problems, trust, rules, common knowledge, collective reason and unity. The most important element of social capital is trust. Trust is of paramount importance in bilateral relations. Indeed, the Qur'an has shown sensitivity to about trust. Another important element of social capital is collective intelligence. The collective mind is the element that enables the community to move together. It provides unity and solidarity. The Qur'an has often commanded to move in unity and togetherness with its approaches.
