Perception of fatherhood role of fathers is greatly influenced by their own perceptions. The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between relationships of fathers with their pre-school children and perceptions of fatherhood role. It also examines whether fatherhood role perceptions and father-child relationships lead to differences in terms of father's age, education status, gender of child, order of birth and time spent with children. The study of relational survey model, was conducted with 321 fathers in Cankiri province center whose children continues to pre-school educational institutions. The data of the study were obtained by "Personal Information Form", "Child Parent Relationship Scale (Father Form)" and "Perception Measurement for Father¡¯s Role (PMFR)". T-test, variance analysis and Pearson Correlation analysis were used in analyzing the data. As a result of the research, it was revealed that there is a significant relationship between the perception of fatherhood role of father and positive father-child relationship.
