%X Phlegmasia cerulea dolens is a serious complication of deep vein thrombosis. This complication is an important cause of morbidity and mortality. Superficial and deep venules in the FSD are thrombosed. Leg swelling, cyanosis, venous gangrene, acute ischemia and compartment syndrome may be present. In this complication, there are options of anticoagulant therapy, intravenous fibrinolytic therapy, pharmacomechanica ltreatment and surgical treatment
