%0 Journal Article %T FREEDOM OF WORK FOR JOURNALIST IN OTHER JOBS AND ITS LIMITS : A STUDY IN THE SCOPE OF ARTICLE 13 OF THE PRESS LABOUR LAW %A Ay£¿e K£¿ME AKPULAT %J - %D 2019 %X The Law About the Arrangement of Relations Among The Workers and Employers on the area of Press was enacted in 1952. The law no 5953 is called briefly Press Labour Law. The Press Labour Law regulates journalists working life as a private law in this area. However, this law has not responded to the needs of solving the problems of journalists. Also considering the new working relations, the law must be renewed. During the press employment agreement, journalist must act in loyalty to his or her employer because of the mutual trust between the parties. However, Article 13 of the law regulates the ability of the journalist to work in another job. In this study, specifically article 13 of the law no 5953 and the further related legislation are studied.
