According to the theory, there is no absolute push and absolute pull factor in any context and plane. Determination of the content of the push pull factors depends on many factors. This theory, which is also used in the tourism literature to determine the factors affecting the choice of destination of the individuals, defines the pushing factors as socio-psychological motives that lead people to travel, and pull factors as a force that attracts people to travel with the characteristics found in a destination. Turkey, especially domestic tourists by the preferred and holiday and recreation purpose of second homes received rented or purchased to be used in a limited period of time, another subject to be examined different aspects of the tourism literature constitute. The aim of this study is to determine the push and pull factors behind the behaviors of the second house owners in the Edremit district of Balikesir, where the second houses are mostly seen. As a result of the research conducted in this direction, two dimensions, social interaction and health under driving factors, were determined. Under attractive factors, it is observed that there are four dimensions: natural attractiveness, shopping opportunity, region value and suitable environment. The demographic characteristics of the participants and their thoughts on the region were analyzed.
