%0 Journal Article %T The Predictor Roles of Perception of Democracy and Deontic Justice on Perception of Social Values in Secondary School Students %A Adnan £¿ZBEY %A Hakan SARI£¿AM %J - %D 2018 %X The main goal of this study; it is also possible to examine the relationship between perception of democracy, deontic justice and perception of social values in secondary school students. The sample of research was consisted of 182 female and 163 male students selected with convenience sampling from three junior high schools in £¿zmir. Deontic Justice Scale, Perception of Democracy Scale in Middle School, and Perception of Social Values Scale were used in study. When it was tested data searching independent samples t test, ANOVA, Pearson moments product correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were used. In results, significant differences were found in democracy perception, perception of social values and deontic justice levels according to school and age variables. According to gender variables, there was a significant difference in the perception of social values, but there was no difference in the perception of democracy and deontic justice. Pearson correlation analysis showed statistically significant positive correlations between democracy perception, deontic justice and social values perception.
