Sociodemographic information form, Peer Support Scale and Social Self-Efficacy Perception Scale were used to collect the data. RESULTS: There is a significant difference between Nursing and Economic and Administrative Sciences students of scores of Peer Support Scale's total and all subscales (p<0.05). Total and subscales scores of Peer Support Scale of nursing students are higher than scores of Economic and Administrative Science students. There was no significant difference between the total scores of Social Self-Efficacy Scale among the two student groups. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: As a result; while peer support is higher in nursing students than in students studying in social sciences, the social self-efficacy perception is moderate in the two groups and does not change according to the students in different departments. This situation reveals that both social self-sufficiency and peer support in university students are a field that needs to be supported and developed. It can be benefited more from peer support for problem solving skills, academic success, adaptation to theoretical and applied courses, and improve vocational adjustment of students both in the health sciences and social sciences %K Akran Deste£¿i %K Sosyal £¿z-Yeterlik %K ¨¹niversite £¿£¿rencileri %U http://dergipark.org.tr/balikesirsbd/issue/38836/452781
