%0 Journal Article %T Death and Man¡¯s Fate: A Study in the Immigration Arabic Poetry %A Abdelkarim Ameen M. SOLIMAN %J - %D 2018 %X Abstract: Death is ahuman phenomenon that has been existing side with life itself. Therefore, death has a clear impact on humanity in general and poets in particular. Poets attitude towards death deffered due to a number of factors, religious, environmental and psychological ones. Thinking about death had become a distinctive trait of Arab Romantic poets. In this study, I have tried to shed light on the concept of death and the attitude towards it according to immigration poets who represent the most important source of Romanticism in Arabic poetry. This study tackles the concept of death and the stance towards it by the Arab immigration poets. In addition, it explores the impact of such concept on the attitude of these poets towards life and its luxuries and issues. Moreover, it traces some philosophical and dogmatic thoughts related to death and based on it such as the theme of resurrection and immortality, the philosophy of reincarnation and metempsychosis, as well as the Sufi meaning of Death as a salvation and a re approachment to the sublimity of God.
