Infection in Cultured Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). %A Fikri BALTA %J - %D 2018 %X In this study, diseased fish was monthly carried out parasitic examination in the fifteen different rainbow trout farms in the Eastern Black Sea Region of Turkey. The Gyrodactylus sp. was observed with microscopic examination of scraping samples of the skin and gill mucus secretion. it were observed symptoms of the disease as darkening of the color of the fish, flaking due to friction and degenerations on the skin surface. £¿n some advanced cases, ulcerated areas were also found in the skin. Gryodactylus sp. as ectoparasite was recorded on the gills (1-5), skin (1-3), and rarely fins (1) respectively at the microscopic examination of the fish. Gyrodactylus sp. infestations were used for treatment with different concentration of formaldehyde, chloramine-T and formaldehyde + chloramine.
