%0 Journal Article %T Outbreak of familial parrot disease, Case Report %A Esra KARAASLAN %J - %D 2019 %X Psittakoz is caused by C. psittaci. It causes infection in parrots, birds, pigeons and poultry. It is often transmitted by secretions, tissues and hair of infected birds. The route of transmission is often by inhalation but rarely by direct contact. It leads to atypical pneumonia, which can be mortal in humans, especially in bird sitter. Psittacosis is usually seen in both lungs with heterogeneous infiltrations and very rarely, lobular infiltration may occur. It causes delay in diagnosis and treatment because it is rarely seen and is easily bypassed when a good anamnesis is not taken. We report two patients with similar symptoms from the same family within a week %K Parrot hastal£¿£¿£¿ %K Atipik pn£¿moni %K Rabdomiyoliz %U http://dergipark.org.tr/hutfd/issue/44085/482824
