%0 Journal Article %T A RARE REASON FOR GASTROINTESTINAL SYSTEM BLEEDING: AORTOENTERIC FISTULA %J - %D 2018 %X Aorto-enteric fistula is a rare clinical picture with a high incidence of mortality among causes of gastrointestinal bleeding. Aorto-enteric fistulas, seen as primary or secondary, develop most frequently after aortic graft operation. Anamnesis plays a very important role in the diagnosis of aorto-enteric fistula since it is at first an unsuspected cause of gastrointestinal bleeding. In this article, we report a case of a 75-year-old male patient with gastrointestinal bleeding in whom the bleeding focus could not be determined despite repeated endoscopies.
