%X Globalization in political respect is described with dissociation of national state and sovereignty in particular and increase in effectiveness of supra-national forms affecting this process directly. In addition to this, power loss of ideologies and giving their places to micro identities and identity policies are also shown as effect of globalization on political field. It is inevitable that political parties founded by people gathering in circle of a certain ideology or program for the purpose of power grab by using legal methods, do not undergo a semantic change during globalization process. National field where political parties make their presence felt, democratic field where they act, public field where they create agenda and the most importantly political base have come face to face with global effects. In this study, it is examined the effects of globalization process on political party-the leader relation. In this respect, it is examined firstly the conception related to political party-the leader relation of modernity which dominated in pre-globalization process. Then, it is mentioned about transformation that globalization created by investigating modernity via postmodernism, and changing dimensions of political party-the leader relation within this transformation. This study lays emphasize on that leaders have become a power center more and more in political party-the leader relation with the transformation of political conceptions
