Sometimes students find themselves in an environment where they do not know themselves, do not come willingly. However, the use of space in the environment of young people is important in terms of personality development and is different from the society in general. The reason for this is the difference in the environmental preferences of youth. These preferences and differences are especially reflected in campus designs where the majority of their time is spent. For this reason, open spaces of the Karadeniz Technical University Kanuni campus were considered in the study. It has been researched how youth use campus open spaces, what spatial factors and components they find possible.
