This study was conducted with the assumption that blood L-lactate concentration could be an important marker in assessing the prognosis and physiopathological status of respiratory diseases (literature supported). In this context, the L-lactate levels of 22 calves with pneumonia (under field conditions and without etiology) were evaluated.
