Even though cutaneous Leishmaniasis is endemic in our country, visceral leishmaniasis is seen as sporadic. Hepatosplenomegaly, pancytopenia, and hypergammaglobulinemia were diagnosed in the examinations of a 21-year old boy having fever, weakness, and anorexia. The diagnosis of visceral leishmaniasis was determined serologically, and it was treated successfully with liposomal amphotericin B.
