%0 Journal Article %T Preservice Primary School Teachers Opinions About Music Acquisitions %A Mustafa Ula£¿ Atasoy %J - %D 2018 %X Music education is cogitation and behavioral education which is performed for to train individuals who is healthy, character-wise, skillfull, productive, easy going, good at understanding universal values, capable to think and see aesthetic. Music education comes into the lifes of millions of students by the first steps to the primary schools. The aim of the research is to trying to define views of the prospective primary school teachers about music skills and make contact between the determined goals and theory and application in the pre-service training. According to the research results; %96 of the candidates think that music lesson is taught effectively, %88 think that they will teach music lesson effectively when they get teacher, %92 think that music lesson which is supportive on its field. Once again % 52 of the candidates think period of the lesson is insufficent and %24 of the candidates think that there is no balance of the lesson about theory and application. Apart from this %76 of the candidates think that they can teach children music, %68 of the candidates want to extend their musical knowledge and skills and %64 of the candidates indicated that have song repertoire aimed at raising national consciousness.
