%X Alburnoides kosswigi was described from the Sakarya River. Morphological data reveal that it also inhabits in the stream Beykonak, a tributary of the Ilg£¿n Lake in Central Anatolia. The Ilg£¿n population of Alburnoides kosswigi has distinguished features such as a scaleless keel between the posterior pelvic-fin base and the anus, the eye diameter approximately equal to the snout length and the interorbital distance, 42¨C47 total lateral-line scales, 11£¿¨C13£¿ branched anal-fin rays, 38¨C39 total vertebrae, 11-12 predorsal vertebrae, and 7¨C8 gill rakers
