%0 Journal Article %T The Effect of Using Analogy on the Teaching of Var£¿ables Affecting on the Brightness of a Bulb with Identifying Variables %A Aytekin £¿£¿KELEZ %A GONCA HARMAN %J - %D 2019 %X This study was investigated the effect of using analogy on the teaching of variables affecting on the brightness of a bulb, identifying variables, learning and elimination misconceptions. The study was conducted with the participation of 98 fifth grade students attending the middle school. The unmatched control group pretest and posttest method was used in this study, interviews were done with the students. Analogy was used in the experimental group and analogy was not used in the control group in the implementation process. A data collection form consisting of 9 questions was used in this study. Data were analyzed using content analysis.
