%0 Journal Article %T A Research on Weeds and Aphids Species in the Apple Orchards of (£¿anakkale) Bayrami£¿ District %A Ali £¿zp£¿nar %J - %D 2019 %X This study was conducted from April to September 2015 in three apple orchards in Ahmet£¿eli village of Bayrami£¿ district of £¿anakkale province. Identification of weed species in apple orchards has been made throughout the gardens. The % coverage in the garden of weed species was investigated in the area 10x4m2 of 1 no orchard, in the area 3x4m2 of 2 and 3 no orchards. Aphid species were recorded in the places designated for the % coverage and 10 shoots in 4 directions of the apple trees of next to these areas. As a result, 55 weed species belonging to 17 families in apple orchards were determined. The most number of weed species was Asteraceae (13 species), Poaceae (12 species) and Fabaceae (6 species) respectively. The species with the highest % coverage area was Medicago polymorpha L. (69%), Lolium perenne L. (62.3%), Equisetum ramosissimum Desf. (58%) and Cyperus rotundus L. (51.3%). Presence of the weed species, 74% were dicotyledonous, except for Erigeron canadensis and Tribulus terrestris L., have ended from June. At the beginning of the season, the dicotyledonous weeds and from June the monocotyledonous weeds became dominant. A total of 8 aphids were identified on weeds and apple trees in the apple orchard. Dysaphis devecta (Walk.), Dysaphis plantaginea (Passerini) and Macrosiphum rosae L. of the aphid species were obtained on the apple trees. Other five species, Hyperomyzus lactuca L., on Sonchus asper (L.) Hill. subsp. glaucescens (Jord.) Ball. and Tragopogon porrifolius L. subsp. longirostris (Sch. Bip.) Greuter; Brachycaudus tragopogonis Kaltenbach, on Tragopogon porrifolius L. subsp. longirostris (Sch. Bip.) Greuter, Brachycaudus helichrysi Kaltenbach, on Erigeron canadensis L.
