%0 Journal Article %T ¡°Don¡¯t Make Them Memorize, Make Them Learn!¡± Effective Social Work Education Trainer's Features in the Perspectives of Students %J - %D 2018 %X The development of effective learning for integration of theory and practice in social work education is very important. In this direction, the role of social worker educator is in a crucial place in education. This research aims to examine, effective social work education trainer's features in the perspectives of students. The study, which is prepared using a phenomenological approach in the qualitative research design, is voluntarily attended by 146 students from a foundation university in Ankara. According to the profile of the participants, 29% (n = 42) of the participants are first-year, 28% (n = 41) second, 26.8% (n = 39) third and 16.3% (n=24) fourth year students. The data are generated by the researchers through the questionnaire consisting of ten open ended questions created as a result of the literature search and resolved in the QSR NVivo program. The data generated in the research are grouped in two main themes. According to results, it can be said that the social work educator has personal characteristics and attitudes (sincere and intimate, not to discriminate and not to act biased) as well as in terms of learning process (good knowledge base, class dominance, efficient use of technology, come prepared to class, sharing events and case examples in daily life) %K Sosyal Hizmet E£¿itimi %K Etkili £¿£¿renme %K etkili sosyal hizmet e£¿itimcisi %U http://dergipark.org.tr/tsh/issue/39687/470020
