Success in teaching Atat¨¹rk's subjects is related to many variables.Effective teaching can be said when teacher, student, physical conditions of the class, program elements are integrated. It is of great importance that the changes in 2005-2017 program and It is reflected in how much and how Atat¨¹rk and Ataturkism are included in the textbooks that teachers and students use and follow as the primary source in social studies . For this reason, This research was aimed to determine the status of Atat¨¹rk and Ataturkism in the 4th and 5th grade Social Studies books . This research was conducted through qualitative research methods. In data analysis have been examined under 6 themes and 17 sub-themes, taking into account the gains, the Atat¨¹rk and Ataturkism's explanations and warnings section. In the analysis of the data obtained within the research, inductive analysis was used from the types of content analysis. As a result: While in the 2005 curriculum, in the 4th and 5th grades, there are gains, explanations and reminders about Atat¨¹rk or Ataturk£¿sm, in the 2017 curriculum is no place for them. While Atat¨¹rk and Ataturkism topics are being intensively studied in the 2005 curriculum, the same situation does not apply to in the 2017 curriculum.It has been determined that the visual themes (65) are used too much in order to reveal the reality and the teaching of the texts described in Atat¨¹rk and Ataturkism topics in 2005 curriculum., and the visual themes (9) are not used sufficiently in 2017 curriculum %K 2005 ve 2017 Sosyal Bilgiler Program£¿ %K 4.ve 5.
