These narratives indicate that the Quran firstly descended from Levh-i Mahfuz (Preserved Tablet) to Baytu¡¯l-¡®Izza, meaning the nearest sky, completely in one time in the night of Qadir, later on that was revealed gradually to the Prophet in connection with specific incidents at the environment of nuzool. In this study, a total of twelve narratives were examined and the relevant narrations were criticized. According to the obtained results, all narratives, which express that the Qur'an was revealed gradually to the Prophet, are based on Ibn Abbas and also are Marfu¡¯ Hukmi. Seven of these narratives have been found sahih (authentic), and five of them found dhaeef (weak) in terms of sanad. It was concluded that it would be possible to evaluate the dhaeef narratives as shahid and mutaba¡®at hadith because of the sahih and dhaeef narratives are the same in content. As a result, the narratives, which express that the Qur¡¯an was revealed gradually to the Prophet, have been determined as sahih in perspective of sanad crticism %K Kur¡¯an-£¿ Ker£¿m %K Had£¿s %K A£¿amal£¿ £¿ndirilme %K Sened Tenkidi %K £¿bn Abbas %U http://dergipark.org.tr/amauifd/issue/37323/400035
