%0 Journal Article %T The Place of Persian Poets in The Diwan of Mo¡®ezzi %A G£¿khan G£¿kmen %J - %D 2018 %X Am¨©r Mo¡®ezz¨© (518-521/1124-1127), who was on duty as Maliku¡¯s-shu¡®ar¨¡ in Seljuk Palace, is an important literary figure in the history and culture of Seljuks. Thanks to his father, Burh¨¡n¨©, who was Sultan Alp Arslan¡¯s poet, Mo¡®ezz¨© who lived around the palace has his a with 19.000 verses especially consisting of poems written for Seljuk sultans and statesman since his childhood. There are many important and famous poets who read Persian poems in the d¨©w¨¡n of Mo¡®ezz¨© who got his fame with his poems of praise. It is felt that in his poems Mo¡®ezz¨© took some poets as an example such as ¡°Unsur¨© and Farruh¨©¡±. The fact that Mo¡®ezz¨© gave place in his d¨©w¨¡n to such poets as Sah¨©d-i Balh¨© (d. 927), R¨±dak¨© (d. 941), Dak¨©k¨© (d. 976-980), Firdows¨© (d. 1022-1026), Farruh¨© (d. 1038), Unsur¨© (d. 1039-1040), Ascad¨©-i Marvaz¨© (d. 1040), Katr¨¡n-i Tabr¨©z¨© (d. after 1089), Mas¡®¨±d Sa¡®d-i Salm¨¡n (d. 1121) and Zaynab¨©-i Alev¨©-i Mahm£¿d¨© (d. 12. yy.) shows his features in poetry and certain features of the poets in question.
