%0 Journal Article %T Changing Position of Turkey in terms of International Migration Regime: Institutional Approaches and Theoretical Expansion %A Erdem AY£¿£¿£¿EK %J - %D 2018 %X In this study, Turkey's changing position in terms of the international refugee regime will be examined in the framework of corporate responsibility and role distribution. Based on the on geopolitical analysis, Turkey, which is located at the center where migration flows intensively emerged from North to South and from East to West, is seen a typical example of the transit country category in terms of international migration flows. However, Turkey is one of the countries which have been unprecedentedly affected by the escalation of civil war and political instability in Syria which occured just across the border. As a result of those devolepments, In this case, Turkey has been exposed to the refugee flows.
