However, this situation has been ended in the light of the economic and social development of western countries. The Ottoman Empire tried to adapt itself to this new system. The Tulip period became the time when the renovation of the Empire¡¯s system by modeling the western countries was clearly apparent. Therefore, there have been many changes in the Ottoman Empire¡¯s social and cultural life in this period.
