%X It is known that there is a vast literature on modernity and its problems. The most well-known literature mainly focuses on issues such as ¡°individualism¡±, ¡°instrumental rationality¡±, ¡°consumption society¡± and ¡°neural diseases¡±. This article deals with the problems of modernity by approaching them with Sufi perspective and tradition, which constitutes a great part of the Islamic intellectual tradition. While Sufi perspective and tradition has a slight chance of resolving the matters of ¡°individualism¡± and ¡°instrumental rationality¡±, it offers a possibility to solve the problems related with ¡°consumption society¡± and ¡°neural diseases¡±
