%X "Sharh al-Aq¨¡id" is one of the important works of the sharh tradition in the Muslim education system in terms of the science of the Kal¨¡m. As a course book, Sharh al-Aq¨¡id has been taught in the curriculum of madrasa for many centuries. The reason of Sharh al-Aq¨¡id for being preferred as a course book is to summarize the previous theological literature in a simple and understandable way. The fact that Sharh al-Aq¨¡id has a theological content, it needs to be evaluated from different angles. In the study, It has made some determinations on the theological value of Sharh al-Aq¨¡id, as method, content and literature. Thus, an attempt was made to reach an analytical judgment on the work and what mean in terms of Muslim thought. Sharh al-Aq¨¡id edited by Teft¨¡z¨¡n¨© is the most famous of the sharhes on ¡°Aq¨¡id an-Nasaf¨©¡± is Omer an-Nasaf¨©¡¯s theology text. This reputation of the work has caused it to be one of the classical works in the field of kal¨¡m. There are two basic elements in the method of Sharh al-Aq¨¡id used when describing the theological issues. The first of these is that it is prepared in a simple and short way according to the classical kal¨¡m problems. The second one is to give competing views of the rival sects in a comparative way and also partly to make their philosophy. In this respect, it is possible to see Sharh al-Aq¨¡id as a kal¨¡m philosophy effort as well as being a work of kal¨¡m
