The concepts of positive and negative freedom were introduced by Isaiah Berlin, as different perspectives on freedom. Berlin, while explaining concepts, has argued that negative freedom is more important. However, in this study, no type of freedom has been prevailed, and how each of them will change in the face of corporate governance practices are mandatory or optional are examined.
