Our country, which has qualified trass beds, continues to produce trass cement widely due to its success especially in the field of resistance. As an alternative additive in the cement industry has been increasing day by day and the existing contribution reserves have gradually decreased, researchers have been working on exploring different trass beds and bringing them to the cement industry. In this study, the use of Karakaya andesitic tuffs as trass in cement production was investigated. The mechanical, physical and chemical tests of the samples showed that the total content of the main oxides (SiO2 + Al2O3 + Fe2O3 = 82.25%) and the pozzolanic activity of the materials could be used in the cement industry in high amounts as cement additive material. Karakaya andesitic tuffs provide great ease of use during the winter months due to low moisture content and considerably reduce costs by adding 30-35% to Portland cement clinker %K Tš¹f %K Karakaya %K £¿imento %K Tras %K Katk£¿l£¿ £¿imento %U http://dergipark.org.tr/mybd/issue/38901/422257
