%0 Journal Article %T Relationship between Nursing Care Perceptions, with Anxiety-Depression Levels of Chronic Disease Cases and %A £¿zge BULDAN %J - %D 2018 %X Affecting Factors Background: In individuals with chronic disease, anxiety and depression are one of the emotional states that accompany the illness. Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between nursing care perceptions with emotional states on chronic disease cases. Methods: This descriptive study was carried out in a university hospital, in internal units, with chronic disease, at least 5 days in the clinic, who agreed to participate in the study (n = 119). Data were collected with the Hospital Anxiety Depression and the Patient Perception of Hospital Experience with Nursing Care scales. Results: Hospital Anxiety Depression scale Anxiety subscale (8.05 ¡À 2.45), Hospital Anxiety Depression Scale Depression Subscale (6.24 ¡À 2.43) and Patient Perception of Hospital Experience with Nursing Care Scale score (47.18 ¡À 5.42) were found. There was a significant difference between the scales of Patient Perception of Hospital Experience with Nursing Care Scale and the Hospital Anxiety Depression Scale Anxiety subscale scores, health insurance and number of chronic diseases, Hospital Anxiety Depression Scale Depression Subscale score, services provided by nurses, and information about the procedures performed by the nurses during the hospitalization day. There was a very weak correlation between Hospital Anxiety Depression Scale Anxiety subscale and Patient Perception of Hospital Experience with Nursing Care Scale scores in the cases (p = .008). Conclusion: In the cases of the moderate level of care, the level of anxiety and depression were low. As the anxiety scores of the cases increased, the scores of the cognitive perceptions decreased and a very weak relation was found between them.
