Populations in Marmara Region %A ¨¹nal KARIK %J - %D 2018 %X ABSTRACT: This study was carried out to determine the essential oil yield and composition, total antioxidant activity, total phenolic and flavonoid contents of the Anatolian sage (Salvia fruticosa Mill.) populations distributed in the Marmara Region, Flowering plant samples of 20 populations collected from Tekirda£¿ and Balikesir provinces were used in the study. As a result of the study, it was found that the essential oil content was between 2%-3%, the main constituents of essential oil were changed between 20,7-46,9% of 1,8-cineole, 2,8-17,5% of camphor and 5,3-11,3% of ¦Â-pinene.
