%0 Journal Article %T IMMIGRANT WOMEN'S OUTDOOR TRAINING and IMPACT on THEIR CHILDREN'S EDUCATION %A Mustafa Hilmi £¿olako£¿lu %J - %D 2018 %X Refugees¡¯ education is one of the big issues for international society. In this research, the women refugees is focused who left Syria and Iraq due to the war and immigrated to Turkey They were within the scope of the Vocational Training Program for Young and Female Syrians in Turkey. The project iss technically supported by UNIDO, AFAD, Istanbul Ready to Wear and Apparel Exporters Association (IHKIB) and Turkish Ministry of National Education (MoNE). The project has provided students with experience in extracurricular learning, determination of prior learning, training in non-Turkish speaking people, training after severe social trauma, and so on. The project was financed by Japanese government. The data is collected from MoNE and a questionnaire was applied to the trainees. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the trainings in terms of positivity, employment and trainees children's enrollment to school and its sustainability. It is clear that the trainees were positively impacted by these training activities and their perspective of life was partially remedied.
