%X In this study, a systematic classification of defects of woven fabrics which are one of the most common textile materials is presented. Discrepancies between various classifications of woven fabric defects and the fabric defects included in the relevant TSE standard are evaluated. A systematic defect database, which may be used as an Expert System for woven fabric defect diagnosis, is developed
