The banking sector within the financial system in Turkey great place to keep savings and transfers of funds to units with an outdoor unit with more savings are realized largely through the banking system. This study was conducted in the period 2006-2016 with data envelopment analysis of total factor productivity calculations for the top 10 banks with deposits greater than 1% share in the total assets of the banking system operating in Turkey. Total factor productivity calculations in deposit bank intermediation activities considering input variables as the number of branches, number of employees, total assets and total deposits when choosing, total loans and income variables as output variables are selected. According to the findings, total factor productivity of the group consisting of 10 banks declined in the relevant period 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2016 and increased in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2013 and 2014.
