%0 Journal Article %T Investigations for Dormancy Breaking in Myagrum perfoliatum L. (Musk Weed) Seeds %A Olcay Bozdo£¿an %J - %D 2019 %X The study was carried out in order to investigate the effect of some chemicals, high and low temperature and hormone applications in different environments, different times and different doses to break the dormancy in Myagrum perfoliatum L. seeds. Chemically sodium hypochlorite, ethanol, pure water, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, microwave (120 W) for high and low temperature, negative 80 oC, negative 80 oC and positive 80 oC (1 minute wait), gibberellic acid used as hormone. The best germination in light environment was determined as 100% in 30 minutes of 96% Ethanol and 32% of Hydrochloric acid for 5 minutes. In light-dark environment, the best germination was found in 32% hydrochloric acid for 5 minutes and 98%. In the dark, the best germination was determined to be 99% in 32% hydrochloric acid for 5 minutes. 96% Ethanol 30 min application gave the best germination only in light environment, 32% hydrochloric acid applied for 5 minutes both in light and light-dark and dark environment. As a result of this study, it is advisable to use 32% hydrochloric acid for breaking the dormancy of Myagrum perfoliatum seeds for 5 minutes, since this gives the best results in the three environments %K Myagrum perfoliatum %K Dormansi %K £¿imlenme %K Kimyasallar %K Tohum %U http://dergipark.org.tr/tjws/issue/46839/512644
