Study sample consisted of 58 volunteer athletes aged 10 to 15 years; 18 tennis players (12.05 ¡À 1.73 years of age), 19 swimmers (12.10 ¡À 1.48 years of age) and 21 wrestlers (14.71 ¡À 0.46 years of age). Anthropometric and body mass index measurements were performed. Somatotype values were calculated using Heath & Carter method. Data were analyzed using SPSS. ANOVA test and Tukey HSD test were used for analysis. Participants¡¯ anthropometric properties; height (p = 0.888), body weight (p = 0.520) and body mass index (p = 0.340) did not significantly differ by sport branches (P£¿0.05). Participants¡¯ somatotype properties; endomorph and ectomorph (p = 0.103, p = 0.232) did not significantly differ by sport branches (P£¿0.05). Participants¡¯ mesomorphic properties (P = 0.000) significantly differed by sport branches (P<0.05). The difference was between wrestlers and tennis players (P = 0.000) and swimmers and tennis players (p = 0.000). Participant wrestlers and swimmers have a mesomorphic structure while participant tennis players have an ectomorphic endomorphic structure. In conclusion, young wrestlers and swimmers have a mesomorphic structure while tennis players have ectomorphic endomorphic structure depending on branch-specific training programs %K Somatotip %K Spor bran£¿£¿ %K altyap£¿ sporcular£¿ %U http://dergipark.org.tr/mjss/issue/47096/463266
