%0 Journal Article %T Metaphoric Perceptions of Vocational Course Teachers on Modular Teaching Program %J - %D 2019 %X The purpose of the current study is to find out the metaphoric perceptions of teachers of vocational education on modular teaching program. The study was designed according to the case study on the basis of qualitative approach. The study group was 90 vocational course teachers. The data collection tool used in the study was a questionnaire form prepared by the researchers. At the end of the study, a total number of 75 metaphors were developed regarding the modular teaching program. The most often used metaphor was ¡°guide¡± and was followed by puzzle, lantern, life, guidebook, wheel, car and compass. The most metaphor was collected in the ¡°modular structure¡± category. The vast majority of metaphors have positive expressions about the modular curriculum.
