%0 Journal Article %T Physics Teachers¡¯ Opinions Regarding the Use of Technology in Teaching %A Eray YILMAZ %J - %D 2018 %X Science teachers especially the ones in high school have great responsibilities to have FAT£¿H project reached its goals and raise Turkey to higher levels in PISA ranking in the field of science literacy. High school teachers¡¯ opinions regarding the use of technology in teaching are important in point of both the teachers¡¯ use of new technologies and their teaching students how they use technology for learning. The aim of this research is to identify the views of physics teachers on the use of technology in teaching. Interviews were conducted with each physics teacher from Science high school, Anatolian high school and Vocational high school. Data was collected with standardized open ended interview form and analyzed with descriptive analyze method. According to the findings of the research, it was found that there were technological facility differences in classroom environments, physics teachers used the technologies such as computer, interactive board and projector for experiments which they couldn¡¯t conduct in laboratories and tablet computers weren¡¯t used because of lack of connections with interactive boards.
