For this aim, 202 university students studying at various university participated in the research. Motivation Scale for University Students (MSUS) was composed of 26 items including internal motivation, external motivation and amotivation dimensions. Factor analysis with Varimax rotation indicated that the scale consisted of three main factor. Besides, the internal consistency coefficient of the scale and the test-retest reliability coefficient were found to be high. In addition, the Academic Motivation Scale (AMS) was used as a criterion to investigate the criterion-related validity of the scale. Results of the correlation analyses showed that MSUS and AMS subscales and total scores were significantly correlated. Finally, when MSUS factors were compared in terms of sex, it was seen that males had higher amotivation score than females %K £¿£¿sel motivasyon %K D£¿£¿sal motivasyon %K £¿z-Belirleme Kuram£¿ %U http://dergipark.org.tr/artibilimsosyal/issue/38107/441261
