%0 Journal Article %T Determining the Expectations of the Teachers who Work in Special Education and Rehabilitation Centers from the Guidance and Research Centers %A Abdullah Sadan %J - %D 2018 %X The purpose of this study is to explore the expectations of teachers working in the Special Education and Rehabilitation Centers from the Guidance and Research Centers. In order to collect data in the study, a questionnaire developed by the researcher was used to determine the expectations of the teachers working in the Special Education and Rehabilitation Centers. Two hundred seventy six teachers working in special education and rehabilitation centers in 2016 / 2017 school year participated in the research. Of the teachers who participated in the survey, 89 are males and 187 are females. The study reveals that the expectation of female teachers working in Special Education and Rehabilitation Centers is higher than that of male teachers; that the expectations among the teachers participating in the research differ from each other depending on whether they took courses related to special education in the undergraduate period, whether they participate in in-service courses related to special education, and their service period; that the expectations of the teachers do not differ from each other depending on the faculties and division they graduated.
