%X Abstract Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease which is especially characterized by insulin resistance . Type 2 diabetes should be treated well because of the increasing in £¿tsprevalence with resulting high cost or constituting both acute and chronic complications. The goal of treatment is to achieve glycemic control and prevention of complications. In this article, we are going to summarize the place of oral antidiabetic agents intreatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus and the principles of treatment approaches in thelight of current knowledge
