%0 Journal Article %T The Impact of Project Shaping on the Occupational Health and Safety Practices in the Construction Sector: Application Example %J - %D 2018 %X The construction industry is a major force in economic activity in Turkey and the world, day by day impact the local and global economy are increasing. The sector with economic power will direct the workforce and shape the lives of millions of people. The increase in the number of employees and the economic rise will bring heavy working conditions and will invite job accidents. In this study, the effects of the construction forms of construction on the precautions against work accidents, the work accidents happening in these work places and the view of the workers in this accidental sector are taken up. Surveys were conducted with 384 construction projects in Ankara, including employees (employer, technical staff, workers). The interactions of the parameters that are thought to cause occupational accidents have been evaluated. As a result of the study, it is found that the OSH measures for turn-key jobs are increased and the measures against job accidents are more effective than the other project types. According to the survey results, Occupational Health and Safety training was given as 49.2% in the construction-and-sales sector and 100% in the turn-key work.
