%0 Journal Article %T A RENEWAL LAID DOWN BY INTERNATIONAL LABOUR LAW: TURQUOISE CARD %A Beng¨¹l Kavlak %J - %D 2019 %X £¿One of the most important renewal laid down by International Labour Law which entered into force at 2016 is the acceptance of Turquoise Card. The aim of the Turquoise Card system which has many similarities with the ¡°Blue Card¡± system of EU law, is to attract qualified foreign professionals to country. Within International Labour Law, many important rights are entitled and formed a privileged foreigners statute for the Turquoise Card holders. According to the regulations which are foreseen in International Labour Law and Turquoise Card Regulation, the Turquoise card holders are exempt from doing military service, have no right to elect and be elected, have no right to be civil servant and they are not free of import vehicle. Their rights of social security law are reserved and subject to the special law. Out of aforesaid rights, Turquoise card holders should benefit from the rights like Turkish citizens. A card should be given to the wife and dependent child of Turquoise card holder which shows the status of his/her and replace the residence permit.
