%0 Journal Article %T EXAMINATION OF PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS' AIM AND CASE OF USING INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS IN TURKISH COURSES %A £¿zg¨¹r BABAY£¿£¿£¿T %J - %D 2019 %X The aim of this study is to examine the purpose and the status of the primary school teachers¡¯ using materials in Turkish lessons. The research is survey design which one of the quantitative research methods. The population of the study is composed of classroom teachers who work in primary schools in the city center of Yozgat in the academic year 2018-2019. Ten primary schools in Yozgat city center were identified by cluster sampling method. A sample of 144 primary school teachers working in these ten schools was formed. As a data collection tool, developed questionnaire was used to determine the use of teaching materials in Turkish lessons. As a result of the research, it is stated that the use of teaching materials in Turkish lessons the efficiency of education in a very high level. It has been found that primary school teachers rarely prepare teaching material in Turkish lessons. It was found out that primary school teachers used textbooks mostly in Turkish lessons and secondly they used interactive boards. The purpose of primary school teachers to use materials in Turkish lessons is mostly to attract students' interest and make the lesson more fun.
