%0 Journal Article %T Analysis of Roads in Land Consolidation Projects: A Case Study of Tš¹rkeli Village in £¿anl£¿urfa/Turkey %A Hamza KUZU %J - %D 2018 %X Land consolidation projects helps to allocate scattered plots to enterprises with rectangle shapes have roads. To evaluate fuel consumption related with road of farmers, £¿anl£¿urfa Province Tš¹rkeli Village land consolidation project is chosen as a material. After and before land consolidation cadastral map of the project (425.19 ha) were used. Number of enterprises number is 17, before average area of plots was 33 but after 47 due to number of shares. In the study, road length and air distance were used as parameters related with fuel consumption. Fuel consumption was reduced 16.01% of consumption before land consolidation. Reduced fuel consumption ensure cutting down on carbon dioxide emission and time needed to operate plots by farmers.
