%X Ali-Shir Nava'i came into prominence with his literary features, as well as being a statesman. Number of his known works is close to thirty. Foundations was the symbol of the understanding of a social state in that era. Sources suggest that Ali-Shir Nava'i played a vital role in the formation of many foundations. Ali-Shir Nava'i created his work titled 'Vakfiye', which serves as a road map to foundations, from the departments under the foundation to its operations. The purpose of this study is to determine and examine the educational elements in 'Vakfiye'. Sections containing educational content was determined by using document analysis in the qualitatively designed study. Obtained data were analysed with content analysis method. Evaluations were made by generating codes from determined educational elements. As a result of the study, it was found that there is information relating to various areas in 'Vakfiye', from the qualities of teachers who perform educational activities, to points to take into consideration in order to properly maintain social life. In the light of this information, it was determined that the work contains information on the qualities teacher must have, the importance of keeping a secret, the importance of being just / fair, the importance of merit, the importance of loyalty, the importance of responsibility, the importance of commitment, and social problems
